Syslog Settings

This page supports setting the Syslog configuration on the reader. If the Syslog host is not set (or is not valid), no Log messages will be not be sent.

• Remote Log Server IP - Supports configuring the host IP address to which Log Messages to be send. IP address 0.0.0.0 indicates no Host is configured
• Remote Log Server Port - Remote Log server listening port, default port is 514
• System Log Minimum Severity - The Minimum severity above which will be stored in the syslog file, this parameter does not have any impact on the Remote Logging. This parameter does not affect the logs which is already stored in the log file
